Responde #6: MMGO’s
Mario Bros… This is how it all started…
Oh my God, so much memories!
I still remember over 17 years ago, what I have in my house was a SEGA. I always fight with my brother for play!
The more fresh memory I had is with the Nintendo … my obsession for Mario Bros! But the original, not all the other versions that were invented later. If is Mario, I’m in! After that’s the closest thing to a video game machine I had was a Game Boy, spend long hours there trying to catch all the bananas in Donkey Kong Country, helping Kirby’s to get food and helping Link to rescue Princess Zelda.
It’s amazing how today, all that has changed. It is not simply a game of one-person play against the machine; many players are now playing online. With the Internet, we are all connected in one-way or another. Interpersonal relationships have evolved and expanded.
MMOG’s are connecting professions, countries and peoples. The closest to this is that I ever played interactively is on Yahoo Games, you play against other people’s traditional arcades games. So I need much to learn from this world, but I’m excited to learn and play!
Let’s the fun begins!
